What Happens During a Lash Lift?

A lash lift service begins with a thorough consultation to assess your natural lashes and determine your lash goals. This is a great time to share your typical beauty routine and what you’d like to achieve from your lash lift. Once your esthetician has determined that you’re a good candidate, they will choose the perfect sized lash lift shield to create your desired lash style.  

Your esthetician will start by cleansing the eye area and carefully placing a lash lift shield along your lash line. Next, a perming solution is gently applied to your natural lashes, curling them over the lash shield to your desired shape. This solution helps to loosen the bonds of your lashes, preparing them for a new curl and increased length. Your esthetician will carefully time this step to avoid over-processing. 

The next step is to apply a fixing solution that sets the lashes in place. This step is crucial, as it helps to maintain your lash lift results for up to 8 weeks! Finally, your esthetician will apply a nourishing solution that heals and repairs the lashes. Created with keratin proteins, the nourishing solution leaves your lashes shiny, protected and smoothed.

And that’s it — You can expect to have beautifully curled, longer-looking lashes in as little as 45-60 minutes!  

Does a Lash Lift Work on Any Lash Type?

To ensure a long-lasting result, follow these tips:

First 24 hours post lash lift:

• Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes immediately after the treatment.
• For the first 12 hours, avoid any contact with water on the lashes
• Do not apply mascara (or other makeup) to treated lashes.

Up to 48 hours post lash lift: 

• Avoid prolonged steamy showers, saunas, or hot tubs.

Day 3 and onward post lash lift:

• Be aware that UV light may make lash tint fade faster.
• Use a conditioning lash serum to keep lashes healthy
