Are you looking for ways to make your eyelashes fuller and longer? You must be aware that lash treatments can make a huge difference while drawing attention to your most special facial asset. A set of voluminous lashes can accentuate not only the look of your eyes but your overall appearance and garner attention to the windows of your soul. The only question emerges here is how to get perfect eyelashes. Eyelash enhancement treatments such as Lash Extensions and Lash Lifts have become quite popular, but deciding which treatment is right for you needs a bit of research.
In 2019, gorgeous lashes have been all the rage leading as one of the biggest beauty trends! This has caused many people to ask about lash enhancement options on how to achieve this. Lash lift and extension services give you beautiful lashes without using a lash curler or mascara.
So to help you decide which treatment or enhancement would work for you, read below to find out everything you need to know about lash extensions and lash lifts.
What are lash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibers that are carefully applied with special glue to natural lashes which mimic the look of real eyelashes. Depending on your desired volume, technicians meticulously apply 100 to 140 (and sometimes more!) individual lash extensions over the course of 1.5 to 3 hours for sets or shorter times for lash fills. You can achieve very natural-looking eyelash looks with classic lashes which means one extension is placed on one natural eyelash, or you can go for more dramatic looks with added volume by having multiple extensions applied to one natural eyelash. These multiple eyelash extensions are molded to look like a “fan” to create a widened look to the extension. This adds volume and density to lash looks which is a great option for people with thinning lashes or for those who want more dramatic effects.
Eyelash extensions require more upkeep. They can also be an investment. Eyelash extensions will naturally fall off when your natural eyelash sheds during the end of its lash cycle, or it will detach from your natural eyelash and fall off that way. This requires a “fill” appointment when more lash extensions are added back to the natural eyelashes. Most customers need a fill every 2-3 weeks.
At Avari Beauty, we hand-make our volume fans and create them with varying lengths and curl types. Our lashes come on a strip where they are lightly glued. Then they can be lifted up from the strip with tweezers and dipped in glue typically made of cyanoacrylate which is a form of "super glue" that is used in the medical industry for suture-free wounds.
Our eyelashes are the first sustainable eyelash extensions available in the market today. These lash extensions are made from recycled HDPE fibers and are completely eco-friendly. These lashes feel so light-weight and comfortable, most clients of ours do not feel they are wearing eyelash extensions!
What is a Lash Lift?
Lash lifts are great for people who want an alternative to eyelash extensions and for those who have medium-to-long length of natural eyelashes, downward-facing eyelashes or straight lashes. It also works great for curly lashes that need to be tamed down and shaped into a new curl. Lash lifts are a low maintenance lash solution for clients with results that last up to 6-8 weeks. Also known as a lash perm, the perm solution is placed on natural eyelashes against a silicon curl pad to give it a natural-looking "lift" and curl!
You will look more awake and even more youthful! Lash lifts have revolutionized old, inadequate eyelash perming techniques. Using silicone pads instead of perm rods, this new technique can lift, straighten or curl, and lengthen your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide-eyed look. This eyelash lift service can also be combined with a lash tint to darken the lashes!
At Avari beauty, we are currently formulating our own product for lash lifting services. Our product line is safer, more effective and more beautiful than traditional eyelash perms or lifts! Stay tuned for our release date. We are excited to bring this product to you!
